MS CHRYSTELLA aka MS LALA

The Academic Workshop is very happy to welcome Ms Chrystella back into their teaching team after a two-year hiatus in Sydney and London. She is a warm, engaging and dynamic tutor with a flair for delivery and a heart for students.

With more than a decade of teaching experience both in the junior college and private sector setting, Ms Chrystella’s passion for nurturing the minds and hearts of students is undeniable.

 

Known affectionately as Ms Lala to her students, she was the level head of the “O” Level Programme at the Academic Workshop from 2014 to 2016, and also taught the Integrated Programme as well as the General Paper. Her cheery personality never fails to keep lessons fun and engaging. Ms Lala has the ability to make others feel comfortable with her. Her genuine enthusiasm towards the subjects she teaches is infectious and this helps motivate the students to give their best and apply what they have learnt effectively.

 

What sets her apart is Ms Lala’s ability to meet the students at where they are and scaffold their learning through consistent modelling of skills and structure in class. Her lessons are effective as they infuse current social issues, academic skills, techniques, and even life lessons.
